RDaSH is a £150m foundation trust providing a range of mental health, learning disability, drug and alcohol and community services to the population of Rotherham, Doncaster and northern Lincolnshire. The Trust has an exceptional financial track record with growth and great financial stability and resilience during a period of the unprecedented challenge to the NHS as a whole. Whilst facing this challenge the Trust is committed to ensuring the patients, service users and carers receive quality care in the most appropriate settings and through our current Transformation project we aim to achieve this by delivering agile, modern services to all.

The Trust is looking for an exceptional candidate to provide leadership, independent and objective challenge and diversity to the Board of Directors. In order to complement the existing skill mix of the Board, we are seeking an individual who brings board-level experience from either a workforce or a clinical background. You will have a demonstrable track record of achievement at Board level in an organisation of a similar size and complexity to the Trust, whether this be in the private, public or voluntary sectors.

This is a demanding but exciting role that provides an opportunity to be at the forefront of new thinking in today's NHS and to use your talents to and make a positive difference to the lives of many in the local community.  Successful candidates will demonstrate a personal interest in enhancing health and care services, and you will have the highest standards of personal integrity. You will also be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of, and alignment to, our values. You will need to be a strategic thinker with experience of operating in a rapidly changing environment.

Candidates must be a member of RDaSH. Becoming a member is simple: email rdash.ftmembershipoffice@nhs.net or join via https://secure.membra.co.uk/RDaSHApplicationForm
